Privacy Policy

Words That Fit is designed to work without an account. The app stores your personal preferences and practice activity locally on your device and does not sell your personal information.

1. Information stored on your device

The app may store the following information locally so its features can work:

  • Your optional display name.
  • Your selected goals, preferred affirmation tone, theme, and content refresh preferences.
  • Saved and hidden affirmations, custom affirmations, mixes, and collections.
  • Practice history, reflection responses, streaks, and progress statistics.
  • Your reminder schedule and notification preferences.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to remove it. You can erase it from the Profile screen by selecting “Erase all data and restart.”

2. Microphone and speech recognition

If you use voice practice, Words That Fit requests access to the microphone and Apple speech recognition. Audio is used only while a voice-practice session is active so the app can compare recognized words with the displayed affirmation. The app does not save audio recordings. Apple may process speech data according to Apple’s own privacy terms and your device settings.

3. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device using the days, wake time, sleep time, and frequency you select. Notification settings can be changed in the app or in iOS Settings.

4. Information we collect

Words That Fit does not require registration and does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. We do not receive your affirmations, reflections, practice history, microphone audio, or notification schedule from the app.

5. Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information from the app with advertisers or data brokers. Content is shared only when you deliberately use the iOS share sheet.

6. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you erase it in the app, remove the app, or reset the device. The in-app erase function removes progress, reflections, collections, reminders, and preferences and returns the app to onboarding.

7. Children’s privacy

Words That Fit is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
